2024 Haybuster® Balebuster 2660

Information

2024 Haybuster® Balebuster 2660

The model 2660 and 2665 two-bale processors are the most popular processors in the Haybuster line and perhaps the most popular bale processors models in the world.

Carry one round bale in the chamber and the second bale on the loader and you are good to go. Whether it’s feeding your cattle or covering loose soil, this model will work for you.

The model 2660 is the two-bale processor that is in demand! This economical machine is perfect for feeding and bedding your cattle, with all the features that have put the Haybuster Balebusters far ahead of the competition. Some of those features include right hand discharge and the chain and slat conveyor table that rotates the bale while the heavy-duty rotor and flails chop off the material, discharging the hay out of the machine. Consistent and steady processing of all types of bales is what our customers have learned to expect from the Haybuster Balebusters. Whether it’s feeding into bunks, feeding on the ground or bedding down the cattle, this is the processor for you!

Features may include:

Notable Updates

With bales getting bigger and heavier, we have made the 2660 even more durable than previous models. We have increased the diameter of the rotor shaft and bearing, as well as the conveyor shaft. The chain attachment to the slats is more durable. We have also increased the width of the table to eliminate dead spots where material can build up. We also moved the loader forks over to help center the bale while loading into the bale chamber.

Shredder Chamber with More Durable 3-Chain Slat Conveyor

The 2660 chain table comes standard with a more durable chain. This, along with the heavy-duty flails and high-speed rotor, allows processing of bales in any condition: wet, frozen, old, new or with flattened bottoms. The conveyor is tilted so it helps to keep bales positioned against the slug bars for consistent processing of hay.

Heavy Duty Flails and High Speed Rotor

The 2660 features an oil bath chain case that reverses the direction of the in-line PTO, increasing speed and efficiency of the rotor by 30%. Heavy-duty rotor and flails process all types of bales in all conditions.

Two-Stage Bale Loader

The 2660 two-stage bale loader allows each bale to be lifted separately without disturbing other bales. It’s designed to carry a second bale to increase efficiency.

Heavy-Duty Frame

This machine has a heavy-duty frame for strength and durability to carry today’s larger, heavier bales.

Rotor Access Door

The 2660 gives you quick and easy access to the rotor for routine inspections and twine removal with the rotor access door. Two additional stripper bars can be installed on the door to reduce the length of cut.
